Blackmilk.

Sup guys. A few months ago I came across a website Blackmilk. And recently i stumbled on it again and am once more obsessed with their clothing. Blackmilk is a pretty.... daring sort of store. It has statement leggings, swimsuits that are so cool you don't have to wear them as swimsuits and plenty of other things to make you gasp with joy and take a few puffs of your ventilator. Just saying.

My favorite thing about blackmilk is that if you click on an item to view the sizing, colors, different views etc. you can scroll down to see photos of people who have sent images in, of them wearing the said item. It's cool because often, the clothing on models can be misleading so it's nice to get a very real perspective and I also find that you see the true fabric and color of the item without all the flash bang studio lighting.

My favorite items from blackmilk is without doubt, the galaxy leggings. They are so insanely cool and another cool thing about them is that they are actually a photo of space taken by NASA. HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!

Arm candy.

Alright i would have totally used the phrase arm party, but since the ever so talented and my role model  Leandra Medine a.k.a the Man Repeller owns the phrase, i'm going to respect her wishes, and use arm candy instead. Cheesy, yes. Effective, no.

Arm candy is the finished result of wearing multiple pieces on one's wrist. Arm candy often consists of watches, bracelets, bangles and cuffs. But hey, why not add a pony while you're at it?

Below is inspiration. Like you need it.

Metallic fever

Lately I have been loving the metal accents on clothes and accessories. I've seen 'metal collar clips' which you literally just clip onto your collar to give it edge, clutches with huge metal buckles, cuffs on shoes and hair, i've literally been just bombarded with metal! Here are some inspirations for ye!

HALLELUJAH!

i knew it. i knew that there would come the day where it would be socially acceptable to wear your pj's in public. So some of you may be thinking this was so 2009 and truthfully, it is! Louis Vuitton created dotted silk pyjamas pieced together with military style tailored jackets and feather necklaces. Marni went for purple and brown stripes with the rolled up and relaxed trousers. Dolce & Gabanna created classic silk pyjamas with dotted or striped prints worn with cute styled jackets and brocade puffy skirts. Well for spring/ summer 2012 Proenza schouler, Thakoon and Karen Walker have loosened up and brought this cool as trend back into the public eye! So whip out your onesies and go for a stroll down your favorite boulevard and do not fear of being socially unacceptable because the pj's are back!

Ellery 2012

The VOGUE show LMFF - Ellery was simply incredible. It was a modern and sharp fusion of structured shoulders, exaggerated waists and stunning gold with the contrast of clean blacks. Below are just a few of my favorite looks from this year's show. It seems that thanks to Balmain the shoulders are here to stay! WEW! And also, the bubble is back but it has been reinvented to start bubbling at the waist rather than the hem of the dress. So check out Ellery's collection and get inspired for... well... space adventure i guess.

I owe you a goat.

It's not color blocking, it's texture blocking.

As the last of the angry looking models waltzed off the runway, I could not believe what I had just witnessed.
I had seen my first ever fashion row, sitting third row with a bottle of sparkling san pellegrino water clutched in my hand. Lights seemed to erupt everywhere as 'we found love' by Rihanna rebounded off the slick black walls and benches, where perhaps the most influential people in Australian fashion sat.
It was the blurriest and clearest thing that ever happened to me. The bulky greek-god gold cuffs and necklaces seemed to beam out amidst the black unfitted coats and the thick wooly cashmere sweaters.
It was an amazing night with amazing goodie bags and to be surrounded by people who were interested in fashion too was just amazing.
